our camp highlights- PRAGNA

  PRAGNA 2021 As the part of B.Ed curriculum we have to attend a 5 day camp and we named it as PRAGNA-2021. Camp is organised from 25 February 2021 to 1 March 2021. The camp is decided to conduct in  2 days online and  3 days offline mode. First day there are 2 sessions and for that we have Roshna miss to take the topic Life skill and Kamaludheen sir to take topic Break the Brain. Second is also offline and we have two sessions and first session was by Shaji sir with topic Radiance of positive thinking and second session was by Satheesh sir with topic Art, Culture, Covid. Day 3 and 4 was online sessions and for online sessions we have resource persons Hanza Beegam, Sameer Babu sir, Nisha miss and Shabu sir they took the topics like Mind power, Effective communication as one of the core life skill, Different styles of leadership, Mindfulness based stress reduction.                               COGNITIVE MAP INTRODUCTION The idea of cognitive map originates from the work of the psychologist Edward Tolman, who is famous for his studies of how rats learned to navigate mazes. In psychology, it has a strong spatial connotation- cognitive maps usually refer to the representation of a space (e.g., a maze) in the brain. Cognitive maps have since been used in a range of fields; Colin Eden, an operations researcher, used the term in a broader sense to refer to a mental model representation of any type of process or concept (whether spatial or not) .  Cognitive maps can be defined as mental images and concepts that are built to visualize and assimilate information. They are also referred to as mental maps, mind maps, schemata, and frames of reference. They act as tools for strategists to move beyond the constraints o...

REFLECTIVE JOURNAL ON E CONTENT

E CONTENT                   As a part of our B.Ed curriculum, we have to take 40 lesson plans. But during this corona period and due to the schools were shut down, we had to limit our classroom teaching to a computer screen. Thus we started our new internship programme on November 16, 2020 through online platform using the application Google meet.           As a final part, we were asked to write 5 e content lessons or video lessons. I choosed the topics force, corrosion of metals, general characteristics of metals, temperature and rate of reaction and carbon and its allotropes. After writing the lesson plans, I used to make a video of each extending to 15 minutes. I used my video for introduction part and conclusion part.
